Victoria Real Estate 2002-2004 from Lucy RichardsonProperty sales of residential and to a lesser extent commercial real estate in Victoria, BC's capital city, has experienced another banner year in 2003. Since 2002 when we set up our first web site at MetroTown.info we have been so busy that we have not even have time to update the web-site. In 2003 and now in 2004 properties may sell within hours of being listed - it has been that competitive a market. In 2001-2002 the disillusionment with stock market portfolios, combined with dropping interest rates for mortgages led many of our current and future clients to look more at real estate in Victoria. It helps that Victoria has been known as the "Palm Springs of Canada" for over 40 years, particularly when we've had major power outages in Easter Canada and the USA in recent years. I would like to thank the many people who have made 2003 a record setting year for real estate purchases in Victoria, my clients, their friends and their families. In fact the pace of sales reached a point that I acquired the services of several assistants to ensure clients received the attention I like to give them.
